"I JUST WANT TO FIND 11,780 VOTES"

Published:

Chapter 2

"In a now infamous telephone call on January 2, 2021, President Trump pressured Georgia Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger for more than an hour."

"And then the President made his demand. “So look. All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have,” President Trump told Raffensperger. It was a stunning moment. The President of the United States was asking a State’s chief election officer to “find” enough votes to declare him the winner of an election he lost.

Probably the most known example of asking an elected election official to break the law by tampering with votes and disenfranchising thousands of voters. Several other elected state elected elections officials were also asked to either break their state's election laws. Some Republican state legislations actually considered creating false Electoral College electors so Mike Pence could use those illegal results.

Whether or not many of them including Trump will be charged and convicted remains to be seen.

And to this day I find it intriguing that so many from the right turned themselves into all kinds of pretzels trying to defend this oversized piece of s**t. I remember Ridge Runner when he was here, trying to justify his intentions. By the way, he disappeared again, I wonder what's going on.

* ln the past, it's been said the " Size of an army" could create fears in nations. In fact l think*  Poland surrendered to Germany without a shot being fired in the 40's. That same " Fear" courses through the veins of many politicians, namely conservatives. How so you ask?
* Well, it's Trump's BASE. How does one explain the testicular fortitude displayed by Trump to brazenly talk to a State elected official like Brad if not to send a message to him & others that " you better go along with my request because my army does not play games when it comes to either keeping you in office or not" when you up for re election. That same fear was displayed by the 147 GOP members who will go down in history for adding their names to de certify Biden as President. That fear got Johnson of Wisconsin to act the way he did by attempting to present his batch of fake electors to Pence. Ron's excuse was l was " only involved for seconds" in that attempt,, but ultimately " Mike didn't need my list." Yet Ron continues to sit in the Senate, what does that tell you about the voters that sent Ron back to Capitol Hill-that  they lack a conscience as well. Funny thing, Mitch is not afraid of 45's army...

Trump's comments on the Jan 6 report sound like someone that's mentally deranged. The problem is there is nobody to tell him that. Still can't find anything that proves the 2020 election was rigged yet he's demanding suspending the Constitution and that he be "reinstated" as President.

Useless asking Trump to name the people that could "reinstate" him but that's why he encouraged people to go to the Capital Building and stop the certification process. One or more of his "yes men" told him it was a possibility.

Lots of people asked why the Capital Police were unarmed and why the D.C. Police didn't get involved. Probably part of Jack Smith's line of questioning.

The 1939 invasion of Poland is an interesting parallel because they didn't believe they would be attacked by overwhelming force either. And the war for them ended in just 35 days.
