Lock him up!

Published:

Even though less than a dozen classified documents were found in a locked closet in Biden's former office, the House Republicans are getting very excited! And I for one are very happy for them because they were handed something to investigate.

Hopefully this will keep them occupied and shelf their plans to gut Social Security.

Social security cuts will never pass in the senate and be vetoed by the president if it does.

Many of the MAGA people they show at Trump rallies look like they are on SS or SSI, yet they vote for people trying to gut their incomes. They believe the Republican bill to gut SS is meant for "those people".

It's just one those strange side effects from drinking lots of MAGA Kool-Aid.

* The reason they are there, at his rallies is because he did not, does not discuss policy. They have to read about attempts to " cut their SS" from the press, not the guy they voted for. The guy they voted for will discuss that topic with others in the party who think they same as they do. Which brings up the fact that the Dems are their lifeline- they are the ones fighting to secure our rights to SS & other social programs.
One of the chief architects...
* Florida GOP Senator Rick Scott attempted to deflect about Republicans’ plans to cut Social Security and Medicare — then got caught mid-interview for trying to pin their extreme agenda on Democrats instead.
Rick Scott is the one responsible for coming up with a wildly unpopular plan to put Social Security and Medicare on the chopping block.

*“Scott’s [‘Rescue America’] plan would also sunset — eliminate — all federal legislation over five years, under the (risky) assumption that worthy laws would be reenacted. That could mean an end to Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, everything else mentioned above — and potentially more.”

Marching in lockstep with Senator Scott, top House Republicans have already come out and made clear that, they would make it one of their “top priorities” to gut Social Security and Medicare.

* Note from Bloomberg Government: “Social Security and Medicare eligibility changes, spending caps, and safety-net work requirements are among the top priorities for key House Republicans who want to use next year’s debt-limit deadline to extract concessions from Democrats.”

In fact, Republicans are so hellbent on coming after key programs, including Social Security, that they would threaten to crash the economy in order to push spending cuts. Even an economist from the conservative American Enterprise Institute said that if Republicans take control and start “playing games” with the debt ceiling, it could have potentially disastrous consequences for the economy and the American people.
* That's who America is dealing with, and one wonders why the voters keep sending these fools back to Washington. Perhaps those rallies are their to make them deaf....

It's only been a couple days, but do the House Republicans have anything their agenda that might actually help the people?

McCarthy's 1st plan is to eliminate the 87000 IRS agents. Well either they are playing dumb, or they doing this not realizing that their base thinks 87000 IRS agents are actually going to be eliminated. 1st of all, These agents are supposed to be gradually Replacing IRS agents that are retiring over a 10 year period, Not all at once.

The total stupidity of the right and their cult members is beyond understanding. How they don't trip over their own shadows and bust their head open on a daily basis confounds me.

* No matter what Kevin says, the Senate is not going to follow a weak nose ringed politician and pass his agenda. First off that pack is filled with Election deniers so anything they say is flawed to begin with.

*Loved how Jordan said we “ going to follow the lead of the Constitution “or something to that effect. Where was that awakening moment when he followed other conservatives in not accepting the results of the American voters?
