The OTHER business I would start if I hit the PB
Published:
My own research lab
HyperSoniQ Innovations
and the first order of business is research into ideas I have about alternative energy vehicles, and alternative energy in general.
This would be the springboard for every idea I have had that would require research and development to get to market (or just to get to a patent which can be licenced to a manufacturer).
Once a decent management team is in place at the skatepark, here is where I would spend the majority of my time that I currently have to waste working for someone else.
Come ON MUSL, I want to see the press dilute the lab's contributions with gem headlines like "Lottery Winner perfects next generation storage cell technology for Electric Vehicles"...

No need to re-invent everything... my first project will take the place of the current weak spot of electric vehicles... the battery.
There are already cars like the Tesla Roadster that can hit 60mph in a shade under 4 seconds, and can continue on to 155mph... the problem is the 200mile range, and the cost/inconvenience of plugging it in overnight.
I am working on an electrochemical generator that actually generates AC, so you can even further reduce manufacturing costs by pulling out the expensive inverters. Straight AC to the motor(s) and a simple and cheap transformer to siphon the DC needed for the rest of the car's electricity needs. 2sets of output terminals... Straight AC that generates based on load requirements and feedback from the car's computer (throttle position/speed/temp/etc...) and a 12v DC output.
may be years, even decades away... but I have good notes/drawings and maybe my kids can finish it if I can't.
