Dalai Lama - Part 2

Published:

Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.

We can live without religion and meditation, but we cannot survive without human affection.

Happiness is not something ready made.  It comes from your own actions.

If you can, help others; if you cannot do that, at least do not harm them.

"The ultimate authority must always rest with the individual's own reason and critical analysis."

I like that one. For the sake of laziness and convenience, too many people surrender their ability to think to most any zealot or demagogue who comes along peddling dogma. Blindly following anyone or anything is a great disservice to oneself.
