I always question polls, but I think it is starting to dawn on many Americans that life was better before the current regime, a lot better. Better in that the economy was strong (401K's were higher than ever for eg.), the world was much calmer, and people felt secure.  People have seen the devolution of America and that the entrenched political factions are promoting it. President Trump is and was being persecuted because he was fighting the system, people see this now. Once he starts his second term he will be much better prepared to take on and defeat the selfish evil swamp that is the federal govt. in DC..

Just a small problem left with legal problems ahead.  This shows how weak the republican party is.

Lmao @ next term as president. While he is in prison? Totally out of touch with reality.

It's like the movie we've all seen a bunch of times. A bunch of bad guys take over a town, they control the police, the police chief, the prosecutors, the judges. Any people in the town that resist or go against them gets punished severely.
Finally a good guy comes along who wants to clean up the town. (Think Clint Eastwood, Chuck Norris) The bad guys do everything they can to get rid of the good guy but he keeps fighting back. In the end the good guy perseveres and gets rid of the bad guys and everyone of the townspeople is happy again. Trump is the good guy.

* Since it’s a lost cause attempting to “ explain good guy bad guy” how about this. In every Western that needed “ cleaning up” the Good guy KNEW the rules before undertaking the mission. He knew who the bad guys before taking them on, and  he did not ride into town and make them up as he went along. He also did not create new rules that benefited himself… sounds familiar?

* Since we talking “ Westerns” everyone knew who the good guy was, they didn’t need to 2nd guess & if the good guy crossed the line, the town held them accountable. I am certain that the good guy wouldn’t go lynching people just because he didn’t like them… sounds familiar again?

* l also don’t think the Town Mayor or officials would have taken kindly to the supposed “ good guy “ stealing stuff and becoming a grifter simply because he thought he earned more than he was paid.

* Btw: One of my favorite Western movie is Appaloosa with Ed Harris & Vigo Mortenson. It also has a lesson at the end: Don’t assume just because a guy handle a shotgun at all times, that he is useless with a pistol. It’s right up there with Tombstone.

I never knew there were "rules" that the good guy had to follow in the westerns. A lot of times the bad guys went after the good guy first. Think The Outlaw Josey Wales my fave or Charles Bronson in Death Wish.

The townspeople just wanted the bad guys locked up or gone by whatever means necessary.
Unfortunately in too many places nowadays the good guy is the one that gets arrested or the bad guys walk free.
Think cashless bail, or bad guys not getting arrested if they steal something as long as it's worth less then $950. Why don't they arrest them or lock them up? Just like in the movies, the bad guys control everyone.

* I know you like to think that your guy is the good guy but his record before becoming the head honcho is atrocious The idea that he was heading to Washington to " drain the swamp" was a nice catchall phrase,  but it was illsuited for him. First off: The good guys never brag, there is " no one but me" can get the job done talk, despite what many may think, they know when to walk away. Now that his " sins " are being exposed,  it's time to answer for them, and he did.

* Nixon was not given a pass, why should your boy? We as a society do not let law breakers roam the streets or promote themselves as agents of good. Some even claimed that he was divinely appointed to lead America , yeah, in an alternate reality.

* l have no problem having Republicans running for President,  just not this guy- he had his run and his past days in office were shameful. People died for this guy's lies on Jan 6th, both civilians and law enforcement & at some point we have to draw the line. The majority of Americans have moved on as well & there is no turning back the clock on history, but if you want to remain in the dark, so be it- life in America was just fine before he ran, and will be long after his bones & ashes- you heard it here first.

LMAO @ "front runner" in a group of "no-names". Is that something like being the NBA G League Most Valuable Player?

You keep bringing up Nixon, why? That was before you were born.

The left’s reality now: “Altered States” 1980.

* Yeah, Nixon was around before I was born but Tricky Dick did leave a mark on American history. He denied he was a crook, but his own PARTY finally had it with him & turned their backs on him.

* The difference that galls many is that Nixon was considered a veteran on foreign affairs & was razor sharp on negotiations and his know how led to diplomatic relations between the US & China.  You can't compare Trump to Nixon, 45 tried to enforce tariffs on the Chinese & it was disastrous for the US.

*I bring that up because the Republicans were not in the least interested in " what Nixon had done " for the country- he broke the law & he was thrown under the bus by his own. Fast forward today, and the same party is supplying cover for  twice impeached President. Like l said- let some other Republicans ran for President because enough harm has been done to this country by 45 & America is not prepared to experience Trump 2.0. Better to pass on him than regret the move later.

* If you listen to Trump lately he " talks about" doing this and that IF he gets in- one would think he was never President in the 1st place. His problem is that he spent far to much time on Twitter etc instead  of doing the things he " now says he WILL do."

*He had a photo shot " throwing toilet paper " to
Survivors in Puerto Rico. I can't think of another President that relished that moment, so...once is enough of that poor behavior from the leader of the free world...don't you think?

Stackles, more proof you have little or none reading comprehension. Go back and slowly and carefully read and try to understand what Todd wrote.
