In addition to being highly polluting in producing and disposing of, electric vehicles are time killers!!! There will be studies of what percentage of your life you spend charging your vehicle and how much longer travel will be because of it.
I for one will never buy that crap, from my cold dead hands, resist we must! FJB and these GD greenies self righteous pieces of sh1t.

Okay. But I'm just wondering, how many times have you ever gone to a gas station and filled your gas tank to just 3/4 full? Almost never, right? So why would I only want an 80% charge?
Now if you notice they never say how long it takes to recharge to 100% at a charging station. It's because after 80% the cars are designed to slow down the recharging process to avoid over charging the battery. Now I can understand that because when you're gassing up and the pump nozzle clicks off, you go slow to get up to the next dollar, or to try to squeeze in an extra gallon. So it's the same thing.
What they don't tell you is that the slow down to get the last 20% of the charge doubles the total recharging time. So 30 minutes for an 80% charge becomes an hour for a full charge. And I guess that just would not make for a very good selling point, which is why they say 80%.
So until I can recharge a battery 100% in the time it takes to fill my gas tank, I'll keep using gas powered cars. And as you're sitting on line at the charging station, I'll wave to to you as I go by.
