True, but how can anyone go through life without being judgmental? I mean, if we lived in a perfect world then it would be okay, but if we see someone who looks a little "different" then we have to say to ourselves "maybe he has a gun." Is this bigotry? Is this judging someone who is homeless, dressed differently or just doesn't look like your neighbor? Yes, but from day 1 we tell our kids "don't talk to strangers" and the reason is "because he might not be a nice person."

On the other hand, this is often an excuse for being mean. For example, I have a neighbor who is an idiot (IMHO) I wish he'd stop knocking on my door, but he won't take a hint. When he came over the other day, after he left I sid out loud "what a complete moron!" Then I felt a little guilty for having that thought because I'm basically a kind person. However, it still doesn't change the fact that this guy is an idiot.

Maybe what the guy heard was"What a Mormon", scratching his head as he walked away....lol
