Trump knew he had classified documents at Mar-a-Lago and knew “As president, I could have declassified them, now I can’t,” The QAnon people really need to look into this because it makes no sense believing he could keep classified documents and carelessly storing them. What if a foreign country, possibly Russia or North Korea made him an offer he couldn't refuse?

It's difficult believing there was nobody in the Republican Party to instruct Trump on the Presidential Records Act and the handling of classified documents after leaving office. He is correct in saying others including the last two VPs had documents too, but subpoenas weren't required to return them.

Rep. Jim Jordon was on Sunday shows saying “If he (Trump) wants to store material in a box in a bathroom, in a box on the stage, he can do that,” because "a president can control access to classified material however he wants". Don't know if Jordan is just clueless, but Trump wasn't president when the boxes were stored "on the stage and in a bathroom" and Trump was recorded on tape saying he didn't declassify those documents.

Though they like Jordan are not helping joining the Trump bandwagon by making weird and silly claims, they will continue to make them.

Don't want to respond in the childish name calling in the "what about" blog entry, but someone said " a Senator isn't supposed to have classified documents at all!". Not verifying claims is nothing new for the MAGA Kool-Aid drinkers but the Intelligence Oversight Act of 1980 clearly codified a Senator's right to classified information.

And to be even clearer, in 2007 "The Bush administration claims that only certain committees are entitled to classified information. In order to protect the security of such information, Congress has set up physical security procedures and required clearances for staff to receive such information."

* What's not spoken about is if Trump won- he would be a " lame duck" President given that he already served one term. To think he will get things accomplished on his resume & everything else is a joke.
* He probably would want to gut the DOJ & FBI ever their course of action in dealing with his indictments. Much like getting the US out of Nato, and that was his administration's plan, thus opening the door for Russia to invade whoever they wanted since the Big Gun's had deserted the scene. Remember the part these guys conveniently forget that ...

* Trump's deal with the Taliban in Afghanistan was the release of 5,000 militant folks & stalling pulling our troops out, and when we lost 13 members, these same poor saps said the " pull out was a disgrace to the nation." Yet releasing those terrorists on the streets of Afghanistan was not. They actually had a " hearing on the pullout" but not the latter. Total hypocrisy.

It's one thing to read the silly and uneducated excuses and claim made by MAGA people on blogs, twitter and other social media platforms, but when a U.S. Congressman gets on national TV and says "there is nothing to see here folks because there are 33 bathrooms", Houston we have a problem.

"There are 33 bathrooms at Mar-a-Lago!" Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla added. "So don't act like it's in some random bathroom that the guests can go into. That's not true!"

Just can't imagine how difficult it is for the Trump supporters trying to defend him when he keeps saying the Presidential Records Act allows him to take any presidential record from the WH. These fools must believe just like Trump, if you tell the same lies over and over again, they will magically become facts.
