To keep it out of the news cycle.
Have you ever hear about Pelosi telling her people not to talk about something.
All political strategy.

Solid good point taken, Jap69, public only wants what it believes and unfortunately not the hidden truth.

* The Fat One said he was going to balance the budget & he didn't. He said he was to get rid of Obamacare & replace it with something better...we waited & waited & waited & the replacement never came. I guess that's how you make America Great again- empty promises.

Sorry Maddog... Thats all they have...But Trump..But Trump..... Pretty said state of affairs to go through your life and deflect onto another person. Then again, that's what they have been instructed to do..... On a side note.. Just picked up another 1000 rounds...staying stocked up, just in case

1000 rounds!  Wow!  You fit in just right in Albuquerque where everyone's getting shot at.

lolol Ben... they get shot because criminals find it a target rich environment and the lack of morals, integrity and ethics within the community & its leaders..... Us normal law abiding Americans that get large quantities, enjoy the sport of target shooting and for the purpose of "Have & not need vs Need and Not have"........ Civil unrest is growing as you just stated, "in Albuquerque where everyone's getting shot at".
At that rate where "everyone's getting shot at" you folks won't be around much longer. Myself & the law-abiding folks who are getting prepared for this crap, plan on being around for a long period of time because we are responsible for our actions.... If your A-city is run by liberals as I suspect, the crime is going to get worse not better (EX - See Austin,TX where the state troopers are being brought in)..... Keep voting blue.... Chicago does. What's the over/under for shootings this upcoming Labor Day weekend ? Do they beat Baltimore ?? Time will tell..And now they(IL) have voted for no cash bail to take effect........... Hope that works out for them(fools)....but  I wouldn't hold my breath on that actually coming to fruition.     Guns and ammo don't kill people. Immoral and Unethical People use them as a tool to kill people..... Since "everyone's getting shot at" just curious. Have you been shot at ??Or don't you live in the city ?....... Time for some target practice tomorrow because it is fun, AND, just in case that day comes where some sh*tbag thinks me or my family will be their next victim?  AIN'T happenin' !!  They will get served Glockamole with many sides of 230 JHP... Phasers on Stun. Kirk out

Instead of rambling on and on as usual and saying nothing pay us a visit.  It will be an enlightening experience.  It's a two way street the republican goons want guns so we live with crime.

We had a republican governor years back and nothing changed. Any more stupid statements. ?
FYI I've lived and worked in several states in this country and I've never owned a gun.  And, I live in the area of Albuquerque for decades called the war zone and I'm still here to answer stupid statements.

Don't blame Repubs for the crime. NM is solid blue. The last time the R's controlled both the house & senate in NM was 1929

Nice of you to pretend to be morally superior. But honestly, your gormless, sophomoric replies just continue the same pre-school mentality of the liberal group think.  Having a Republican gov from "years back" doesn't apply. It's what's happening in your city as of recent leadership.... We have a R as the governor now....He doesn't run Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga and that's where the biggest shooting problems are...All run by the Democrats .... Unless you p*ssed someone off (which I can see that happening) and they knew exactly where you lived and what time you would be home and what room you would be in, you were not shot at, your house was.   More guns don't cause crime, they never have and they never will. Crime is caused by unethical and immoral people, who are emboldened due to the lack of consequences by leaders of their communities. You get a proactive Mayor and city council that supports law enforcement, along with a proactive police chief & prosecutor that aggressively goes after criminals, your crime stats with drop. That is just a fact.  Enjoy being the bait and keep your head being buried in the sand because that is all you will ever achieve(victim) with that mentality.
I wouldn't spend a dime visiting a liberal cesspool if you are allegedly having a place "where everyone's getting shot at".Period. That would be asinine and 'stupid" to do so. Just as I won't spend a red nickel on visiting the entire left coast or on the streets of NY... Don't care where you have been and whether you own a gun. Honestly, I am extremely glad you don't own a firearm, because you have shown through your statements that you are not responsible enough to do so along with constantly blaming someone else(usually Trump) for your communities' issues. Enjoy taking the daily chance of being a victim. Especially when you keep voting Blue. Glad it's working out so well for you and the Democratic "defund the police"& " No cash bail" movement.

* LB- don’t waste your time with the being Red is better. Almost all these so called Red States feel that they morally better than the so called Blue States. It’s “ God, Guns & who knows what.” If you don’t carry a gun, you an imbecile. When the shooting of innocent children in schools happens, there is almost zero legislation to curb that. The fat one wants to turn schools into penitentiaries, have armed police on site/ boy is that helpful. Remember when there was a shooting at a school in the last year, l think in Texas & the police took F “ ages” to enter the building for fear of bullets coming at them? The parents moaned the lost of their children while the cops made excuses. Abbot had a fund raising event on the same F day & of course, they morally superior.

* They sure know how to pick them as well: A complete embarrassment in the Fat one at home & abroad. Tuberville holding up nominations because is his religious beliefs, Comer who’s batting “0” in nailing Joe for corruption. Greene who’s insane display of Hunter naked shows the depths these fools will go to pretend they doing the people’s work. His they call themselves the “ Right” is beyond me. You had Nixon impeached for corruption, the fat one got twice the dosage & now these sycophants are thinking of expunging the Fat one’s impeachment record because it will put a smile on the villain’s face. You cannot erase History  mutants. The world knows he was impeached, that his a thief & a liar & nothing passed by this silly Congress will change that. Lincoln is spinning in his grave.

Your State, California, was the first one to put armed cops in schools.
In 1948.

* Let me first address your post on “ Biden talking about getting rid of a corrupt prosecutor “ in Ukraine… and your post suggesting that Joe took a BRIBE. Listen up Moron- that prosecutor was dirty, so much so that neighboring countries wanted that dirtbag gone. After investigating that fool, the US pulled the trigger on him. What also escapes your notice is that Biden had the authority to do it coming from the President of the United States at the time.  You and others are somehow under the impression that a VP can do whatever he wants- that’s shows the idiocy of not only you, but your ilk in general.

* Yes, CA did & does have resource officers to quell bullying etc etc. There was no mass shooting back in 1948 to the best of my knowledge but l am open to correction. Every freaking thing is such an “ easy solution “ for the Fat one. When asked by Hannity how he would end the Russia - Ukraine war, our disgraced ex President said “ make a deal or compromise “ or some silly suggestion. He befriended Lil Kim & the guy did not give up on his nukes even though 45 loves to say “ he did not fire any on my watch.” But the NK leader did not stop making nukes. Your idiot choice for President got played.

What your ilk seems to forget is that world leaders: Putin, Kim, Xi & countless others KNEW that 45 had little knowledge of how politics are played on the world scene. Your fat one was not even a Governor, so they knew they were dealing with an idiot.

* They probably wondered how the American public could have got it so wrong. They were expecting Hillary to defeat Trump but surprise surprise. When 45 took Putin’s word over our own intelligence- that was all Vlad needed to know that he could play Trump like a fiddle & he did. Of course, this goes over the heads of you poor things because after all- you guys are incapable of thinking clearly. These world leaders are probably asking themselves how could Americans get it wrong twice- given that 45 leads the field of republican candidates.

* The Maga folks are showing the world that we do have uneducated idiots after all in our ranks.

Hey dum bass. Biden didn't take a bribe. He offered the bribe. The second video Biden said, "You don't fire the prosecutor, you're not getting the billion dollars. Well, sonuvabitch. He got fired."
If Shokin was so dirty why didn't they just bribe him too?
So who is more corrupt, the man offering a bribe or the man who accepts the bribe?

BTW The topic is/was, Why Did Joe Biden Stop Talking About The Deficit

Ben, You are funny,no doubt about that!!!   "Dana what are you going to do with your 1000 rounds?  Let me guess get thrown in jail?
As I posted above, "Us normal law abiding Americans that get large quantities, enjoy the sport of target shooting and for the purpose of "Have & not need vs Need and Not have"

When most shooters go to ranges or out on private properties to conduct shooting activities it's for the purpose of practicing to hit what we are aiming at. It also preps you for the recoil, sound and getting use to proper site alignment techniques. Most shooters who want to be confident and consistent shoot every 1-3 months with all of their personal firearms. Average shooting is about 200 -250 rounds for me. Depends on the number of different calibers I take to shoot. If you have a 9MM and a .357 or .380 or .40 or a .45 or even a 44 mag and you wanted to put 4-5 full clips through each one(except the 44) that would easily get rid 250 rounds just in the 5 calibers. Even with the 10 round magazine that CA requires....Any responsible owner of a weapon needs to know how to shoot/clean and be able to handle it properly.  You are only as good as the last time you accurately shot and hit what your intended target was. If that target turns out to be a bad human that intends to cause you/loved one serious grevous bodily harm or death, you better be ready. We don’t decide what is necessary to survive a lethal force encounter initiated by someone else.  That person decides what’s necessary for us to survive.
Why practice?
“To each there comes in their lifetime a special moment when they are figuratively tapped on the shoulder and offered the chance to do a very special thing, unique
to them and fitted to their talents.  What a tragedy, if that moment finds them unprepared or unqualified for that which could have been their finest hour.”
-- Winston Churchill

You don't go to jail because you buy a 1000 rounds or 1 million rounds..lolololol... you practice and practice and shoot some more, in case that day comes that your life/loved ones life, faces being extinguished by someone that doesn't care 1 single inch about it. Our understanding and consent are not required for someone to take your life, kill your loved ones, and destroy all you hold dear......That's why I own a weapon, lots of ammo and train with it when I can.

* l know you not smart- we all know that, why? Cause you still believe that Trump beat Biden.. but to your point. Your " offer a Bribe" statement is BS.. listen up my young apprentice.

*It's true that Joe Biden leveraged $1 billion in aid to persuade Ukraine to oust its top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, in March 2016. But it wasn't because Shokin was investigating Burisma. It was because Shokin wasn't pursuing corruption among the country's politicians.

*  As European and American diplomats pressed Ukraine to clean up its corruption, they focused on Shokin's leadership of the Prosecutor General's Office, which he took over in February 2015.

*Mike Carpenter, who served as a foreign policy adviser to the then-vice president, told USA TODAY that Shokin "never went after any corrupt individuals at all" and "never prosecuted any high-profile cases of corruption."
Charlie Kupchan, who was a special assistant to President Barack Obama and a senior director for European Affairs on the National Security Council, said anti-corruption efforts were "a big part of our diplomacy" with Ukraine, since "it was that corruption that allowed Russia to manipulate the country politically and economically."
* As a result, Biden leveraged $1 billion in aid as "a stick to move Ukraine forward," Kupchan said. "He was acting alongside our European allies. Everybody was of a single mind that this prosecutor was not the right guy for the job."

Daria Kaleniuk, the co-founder and executive director of the Anti Corruption Action Centre in Kyiv, Ukraine, credited Biden, the International Monetary Fund — which threatened to delay $40 billion in aid for similar reasons — and others with the prosecutor's removal.

* "Civil society organizations in Ukraine were pressing for his resignation," Kaleniuk said, "but no one would have cared if there had not been voices from outside this country calling on him to go."

After Shokin left the Prosecutor General's Office, Jan Tombinski, the ambassador from the European Union to Ukraine, called it "an opportunity to make a fresh start."

"I hope," Tombinski said, "that the new Prosecutor General will ensure that the Office of the Prosecutor General becomes independent from political influence and pressure and enjoys public trust."

* Stop looking and believing in conspiracy theories- l know you cant help it cause at present, you a lost soul, much like the rest of your ilk.

Nice to see you do a little research for once. It's about time.

Google: difference between bribery and extortion. To sum up: In bribery, the illegal QPQ occurs when one party (often an official of the government) is offered anything of value in exchange for a favor. Extortion involves an illegal QPQ where one party threatens bodily harm, damage of reputation, property damage, etc.      QPQ is quid pro quo.

Now tell me how this is not a bribe.

* That’s the best you can come up with as a response? Instead of apologizing you pedantic drone- you talk about “ Research.” You and the rest of your Maga minions should have listened to the Courts years ago that found the Fat one had no legal standing.

* You’d be laughed at in our debate class.

It's a bribe. You fire the guy, I'll give you a billion bucks. If you can't/won't accept it then I can't help that.
I'm amazed you actually did some research for once because 99.9% of what you post is just nonsense that never has anything to do with the topic at hand. For example. For some reason you're always bringing up Nixon even though he's been dead for 29 years. How is that relevant to another current?
As for Trump not having legal standing, that's hogwash. Dozens of people signed sworn affidavits as to what they experienced Nov 3 not to mention all the video taken that day. The only reason they keep claiming no standing, is because no judge has the guts to admit something wasn't right as that would question past elections and our election system. Which sore loser democrats do all the time when they don't win by saying the voting machines can be hacked into blah, blah, blah, but when a repub says it they're called a crazy conspiracist. So spare us your hypocrisy.
Here are 2 videos of dems complaining about the machines they now claim are so accurate and trustworthy. They first one is from Jan. 2005, so they haven't trusted the machines for almost 2 decades. But yet they don't want to go back to paper ballots and in person voting. Why wouldn't they? Because they want to be able to cheat when it's in their favor.
