Supply, demand, state/fed taxes, surcharges, commodity oil market prices, and national energy policies.

* That's quite a confession coming from a Maga minion. The blame is usually placed on Joe Biden, as is inflation, floods, Tornadoes etc etc. After all, there were some blaming the vaccines for deaths.

* Never once did the Maga folks say that the deceased had underlying health issues,  it was always the vaccines. Funny how those folks never commented on the lives the " jab" saved. I  🤔 why that is?

* Who controls gas prices?
Putin controls gas prices and inflation. I know because Joe said so.  https://youtu.be/qKhl3h1QBbk And Joe wouldn't lie to us.

By the way, this article is 14 months old.

GR yes. I didn't see how old this was. I am going to look on an older phone of mine from when I took a picture at the gas pump when President Trump was in charge.

* Most politicians lie, but no one comes close to the Orange one- past present or future. When 45 was in charge the prices were lower, but then again, he rode into office on the coattails of an economy that started back in 08 or 09. Which is why he had- No plan B when the economy bottomed out on his watch during Covid. I don't blame him for Covid, but l do fault him for not having a rescue plan other than " open up the economy " while people were dying.
* It's like l said before Gumby could have been President in 45's years in office & the results would have been the same, economy wise. Remember how his Casinos bellied up & he filed bankruptcy? Same thing....no plan B.
* Now that l have your attention,  why is he asking the Congress & Senate Republicans to " Stop Smith & these investigations" if he is innocent of these charges, he would welcome his day in court..right?

J.  A friend posted this on fb,
I am making this post so it will show back up as a future memory on my timeline: Today is two days after the 2020 election. Gasoline is currently $1.80-2.10 per gallon. Interest rates are 2.65% for a 30 year mortgage. The stock market closed at 27,848, even though we have been fighting COVID for 9 months. Our GDP growth for the 3rd Qtr was 33%. We had the best economy ever until COVID and it is recovering well. We have not had any new wars or conflicts in the last 4 years. North Korea has been under control and has not been testing any missiles. Isis has not been heard from for over 3 years. The housing market is the strongest in over 20 years. Homes have appreciated at an unbelievable rate and sell within hours of going on the market, with multiple offers. I hope our new leadership can build on these things and can keep them going, but if I were a betting person I would bet that the only place we will see these results will be in this post. (Copied)

* Yeah G, and despite your adulation for the Orangutan, the VOTERS saw through those smoke & morrors & tossed him out of the moving train.

* In your puny mind, the more sight of 45 walking  with his Red tie and shoulders slumped forward " Strikes Fear in the ?? 's and minds of the enemy.

* You guys are under the impression that none of the folks abroad knew Trump was a novice at politics. Those folks respected the Office of the Presidency but definitely not 45. It's similar to saying if Tiger Woods in his prime entered a baseball match- do you think pitcher's would fear him? Well, that's the freaking same with 45. They knew him as a hotel owner,  but President with authority? Surely you jest. Go look at his speech before the UN, bragging about what " he accomplished " the audience LAUGHED at him because they knew he was a F newbie.

* l never could understand why the Maga supporters were shocked when 45 lost. After all, the guy winged it for 4 years. Bush Snr was victorious in the war in Kuwait in driving out Saddam & the American voters threw him under the bus, and here was a career politician, was shot down * l think during the 2nd WW, yet when it came to Trump, it's as if the ground beneath you guys feet opened up and swallowed the Orangutan whole.
* Gee, the US women's soccer team was considered the best there was for ages and they lost over the weekend. If only you guys could embrace reality, what a wonderful world it would be.. for you!

You do realize that during Trump's entire 4 years the weekly price of gasoline never once went over $3.00 a gallon don't you?  We didn't have a 4 year pandemic.
It was $2.47 the week Biden was sworn in.
Biden went over $3 on 5/10/21 to $3.05.
On 3/7/22 10 months later it was $4.19.
On 6/13/22 it was $5.10.
On 8/22 It was down to $3.99. That's better.
On 12/26/22  it was down to $3.20. That's better yet.
But then the bad news, 4/10/23 it was back up to $3.70.
As of 8/7/23 it's $3.94. Prices haven't been this high since 2012.
Four bucks by Labor Day should be a slam dunk.

Gas prices weekly/month since 1993

Oil prices monthly since 1973

When you depend on other countries for oil instead of drilling your own, you don't control the price.

Presidents don't control the price of gas idiot! Blame high prices of food and gas on gouging prices of greedy merchants hell bent on recovering losses during less purchases in the pandemic. They are making up for losses.

You maga morons send your hard earned money to the orange grifter, to the tune of $250 million for his supposed campaign, and he uses most of that money for his legal costs, and then complain about high gas prices. Hypocrisy at its best. GTFO! LOSERS!
