Too bad that isn't the every day price today. I remember .23 to .27 cents. But I wasn't quite old enough to drive yet. lol

Granted it was with my Giant points, but nevertheless it was frinking awesome $1.59. When I started buying real gasoline 70's (lawn mowers, minibikes, motorcycles, power equipment) it was somewhere in the 60 -75 cents, the high test Sunoco 260 was $1.25 $1.30. If energy prices had not been crushed by the current regime the economy would not be in so much trouble today.

I do the same thing with my Safeway card. I let it build up to a dollar off, then run my tank down to a 1/4 or less. Just think how we could be all be paying around $2.00 - $2.25 or less if it wasn't for the Biden EV GND agenda. And inflation, interest rates, and the economy problems wouldn't be the problem it is now for everyone. We don't need four more years of this.

You gentlemen remember back in 98-99 when ole Slick Willie was president, gas got down to .82 cents/gallon in FL. I rented an RV with the family and we took a vacation up in GA. When we got back the fill up was under $50....Yes Jarasan, I remember the .75 cents a gallon, days of my youth back in the 70's...Wish I could go back for a visit, maybe a week or 2. No cell phones and being able to have seniors in HS get our beer for us for $3 a 6 pack.
