* The problem is injecting religious overtones into politics & claiming one is doing the Lord’s work. There is a clear distinction between people who followed the Lord & politicians in scripture- which is why no Christian joined political bodies. No Christian was a member of the Sanhedrin after accepting Jesus. Jesus even called a religious leader a “ Fox.”
