I can't imagine the State simply giving free HC to all. Even citizens in this State have to pay into the system. Everything comes with a price.

The state has a $68 billion deficit. The price will be, legal citizens taxes will go up to pay for the free health care of people here illegally who never paid a dime into the system.

I think this comment from the article sums up how people feel.

I work full-time. I have 3 children.  I don't qualify for free healthcare even though I'm a widowed mom because I work longer hours to pay for my kids, giving me a higher taxable income. My company does not offer health coverage.. they pay 30% of my monthly payment.

It just makes me so angry that I am struggling and people come here into the country and sail away with free health coverage... While I struggle to pay my bills and work a sixty hour week just about breaking even. I'm in my 40s paying taxes for 26 years. We have no money for luxuries. I don't know what is happening to this country.
As an american, I am standing by like many others watching our once great country fall apart.

* The article said " if they qualify." Besides,  these folk are Working, they not unemployed & simply getting freebies. That's the mistake people make, thinking undocumented folks are simply crossing the border & taking up panhandling. Who do you think is picking your strawberries out in the fields etc? I don't see Whites, blacks or Asians out doing those jobs.

If they qualify. They are unable to qualify because they have jobs where they earn above Medi-Cal’s annual income thresholds for most adults: $17,609 for single people, $23,792 for a couple and $36,156 for a family of four. 
25.3 million people in the US, don't have health insurance. Compared to the 2 million farmworkers in the United States. But hey lets take care of people here illegally first.
