According to D. John Sauer the President of the U.S. can legally order a Seal team to assassinate their political rivals. His argument probably wasn't very well thought out because if the Appeals Court agrees with him, look for a Seal team to hit Mar-a-Lago the next day.

Yeah I know Sauer added some mumbo jumbo word salad exceptions that made the judges concentrate on not rolling their eyes. Shouldn't be a problem if they rule against because Trump's NY lawyer Alina Habba said people like Brett Kavanaugh are in Trump's pocket like "so many nickels and dimes",

"I have faith in them. People like Kavanaugh, who the president fought for, who the president went through hell to get into place, he'll step up," Habba said. "Those people will step up not because they're pro-Trump, but because they're pro-law, because they're pro-fairness, and the law on this is very clear."

Sort of weird using closing arguments to attack the judge that is going to decide if the fine is $370 million, but hey, Trump wakes up every day wondering what weird thing he will do today.

* That's the thinking of the Trump team going way back. Remember when he selected Amy B to replace Ruth B on the high court? Trump sped to get her up there because he said " we may need her to sort things out" why? Cause he saw himself losing & figured that it would be a repeat of Bush vs Gore and the conservative court would rule in his favor.

* The court may be conservative but they not idiots.

* Some Maga cult supporter or supporters wanted to bomb the Judge this morning. One would think that with many of their fellow supporters being sent to prison that they would cut it out, l guess they upped the active ingredients of that kool-aid they regularly consume.

Most of the MAGA Kool-Aid drinkers I know are not very educated. When it's pointed that Trump was impeached the first time for asking a foreign leader to dig up something anything on Biden, they usually counter with "but Biden and European leaders said they would hold up billions in aid to Ukraine unless they fired top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin. As if the two are synonymous.

Compared to sending in a Seal team to whack an opponent, digging up dirt regardless if its false, doesn't seem so bad as telling the my pillow crackhead he "hopes there is recession in the next ten months".

It's obvious the MAGA Kool-Aid drinkers will stick with Trump regardless of whatever outrageous thing he says (don't get me started on the Presidential Records Act), but what about the independent voters and many of the Republicans that are now questioning his fitness to hold any office much less the Presidency?

Not a predictions, but Rand Paul sure looks like he wants to run for President again.
