Just considering the number of people here that believed it really happened in Springfield, Ohio, the Haitian Community there may have to stay indoors.

Even his supporters laughed when Trump made that idiotic claim but none of his childish poorly educated followers will see how racist and dangerous those remarks really were.

Interesting how and why this bogus claim started why it's so important to perpetuate it. JD Vance talked about childless cat ladies being unamerican and someone thought about when reading about a deranged women in Canton, Ohio.

The hoax started with post in a private Facebook group called “Springfield Ohio Crime and Information”.  Facebook user Erika Lee posted that a neighbor had told her that the neighbor's daughter's friend had "lost her cat" and then saw it "hanging from a branch, like you'd do a deer for butchering" at a neighbor's house, insisting "they were carving it up to eat."  Lee later told an interviewer, “I’m not sure I’m the most credible source because I don’t actually know the person who lost the cat,”  From there, Neo-Nazi groups and popular right-wing X accounts, which presented the claim as fact, and blamed Haitian Americans and the Biden–Harris administration.

Lee got her "five minutes of fame" by repeating fifth hand info.  If it was just aimed at poorly educated people believing a story that neighbor (1) telling Lee (2) that her neighbor's (3) daughter's (4) friend (5) lost her cat, but not only is the former President repeating it so is he VP candidate.

Had someone right here in a blog entry saying it was true after they saw numerous reports and fact checkers calling it a bogus claim and a hoax. Should be obvious millions of people will believe anything no matter how stupid the former president says. His handlers told him his poorly educated MAGA Kool-Aid drinkers will believe anything.
