Pastor Jennings was lucky those two cops didn't shoot first and ask question later. Because of large number of lawsuits caused by some police violating civil rights, many state Attorney Generals are talking about repealing qualified immunity.

Without it, police will have to be much more knowledgeable of Constitutional Rights that supersede city and state rules and laws. Some are trained to always ask for ID regardless pf the circumstances and while there is no problem with asking, but demanding it is clearly against the Fourth Amendment unless a person is reasonably articulate suspicion a crime is being committed or about to be committed.

More and more people are filming in public and from public property and being confronted by cops that don't know it's a Constitutional protected activity. And that sometimes escalates into demanding ID and sometimes arrests simply because some cops don't understand Rights and don't care because they have qualified immunity.
