Some lucky person won the Super 7 lottery in my city or across the bridge. The prize was $ 4 million.

 

It wasn't me though.

 

I hope they do not spend it too fast. And use the money wisely for their future.Coffee

Elizabeth, what are the taxes (if any) on a lottery prize in Canada? Do they get $4 million or was that an annuity?

Maybe you'll win next time.

Nancy, There are no taxes charged on Canadian lotteries that I know of. The $ 4 million is that person's share of the lottery. The jackpot total was over 9 million, so that was their part.
