I believe the pilot was a woman, heard several people say she, I could be mistaken or maybe they were.
She/he was flying higher than she was supposed to, was there a equipment/radar malfunction?
Was there drugs/alcohol involved?  Was the pilot fatigued or having medical emergency?
Were they city lights a factor?   Was miscommunication with the tower the problem? We may never know why the pilot clearly flew into the plane.
We do know the Tower was short staffed, should have been close to 30 people and there were 19.
Was DEI a problem at the FAA, yes it was and Biden and Buttigieg wore it like a badge of honor, they own it. Don't get mad at Trump for reminding us of their ( Biden/Buttigeig/Harris) words.
The refused applications for almost 1000 people because they were white, instead they insisted on people of color, woman, gay, trans, and disabled .
They were willing to hire people with Epilepsy, Amputees, Hearing and Vision disabilities., severe intellectual disability , Dwarfism, and psychiatric patients on medication.

My nephew is an air traffic controller, he was trained when he was in the Marines, he was at the DC area. That was when Barry was prezzy, he's in another State, but it's a very stressful job and you need people who are mentally on the top of their game.
