That's a nice goal, no tax on SS would be nice, 85% of my SS was taxable Income, My husband works 60 hours a week, those 20 OT hours get decimated.

That's a pretty nice raise. Some examples of what the current Fed income tax is.
If you make $150,000 a year living in the region of New York, USA, you will be taxed $47,513.
If you make $150,000 a year living in the region of California, USA, you will be taxed $51,174
If you make $150,000 a year living in the region of Texas, USA, you will be taxed $38,017
If you make $150,000 a year living in the region of Florida, USA, you will be taxed $38,017.
If you make $150,000 a year living in the region of Michigan, USA, you will be taxed $44,392
If you make $150,000 a year living in the region of Maryland, USA, you will be taxed $45,203.

If you make $75,000 a year living in the region of New York, USA, you will be taxed $19,161
If you make $75,000 a year living in the region of California, USA, you will be taxed $19,714.
If you make $75,000 a year living in the region of Texas, USA, you will be taxed $15,006.
