Flag Day, celebrated annually on June 14th, commemorates the adoption of the U.S. flag by the Continental Congress on that date in 1777. It's a day to celebrate the history, symbolism, and meaning of the Stars and Stripes, a symbol of freedom and national unity.
It won't be the first military parade we ever had.
