Yeah, I remember as a kid they predicted talking to someone live and seeing them. we have that now.

sully, remember the Dick Tracy comic strip? That's where it started.

Dick Tracy's 2-way wrist radio was introduced by Chester Gould on January 13, 1946. Gould was inspired by a visit to inventor Al Gross. It was eventually upgraded to a 2-Way Wrist TV in 1964, and a 2-Way Wrist Computer in 1986.
