Starting week 3.

Published:

Picks ready, week 3 of the pick 3 operation.

The day draw I just missed in week 2 was indeed an all neutral draw, I just picked the wrong number from column 2... phase 2 is not very precise... yet.

Might go out on a self funded run at the pick 5 in week 4, it's only $14 extra...

Also considering a self funded run at the Cash 4 Life plan, first week of August... that way the no pick 3 win contingency is covered and I at least get to have a shot. One shot... no pressure...

When studying the results of that neutral near miss, there was no clear indicator that the 8 was a better pick than the 6. End of the day (or week) it is and will always remain a best guess.

Putting a delay on the start of week 3... I have decided to fund one week of the pick 5 as well, just to see how that plays out over the week. Updating the pick 5 files and hopefully having a pick by Tomorrow night, and playing Saturday morning.
Should be the same process as the pick 3, only neutral draws make up 52% of pick 5 draws (day or evening), so it will take some time to ensure the process being applied to the phase 2 pick 3 solution is the same as the phase 2 pick 5 solution.

Lottery post member @joam had a python script posted a bit back in the lottery discussion forum that did an analysis of all possible powerball white ball combinations. I modified it to see how the numbers looked on the 5/60 that is the Cash 4 Life. Great post, great script!
About a month to go with pick 3 play before taking a shot at the Cash 4 Life anyway... here is hoping for a coincidental hit along the way!

All picks ready for play Saturday morning.
Pick 3 ended up being 3 unique digits each, so $40 for a box hit.
Pick 5 will skip box play unless all 5 digits are different. Keeps it out of claim form territory.
6 weeks to go for the pick 3 live test, pick 5 is a one week only early trial.
