If gerrymandering is a threat to Democracy those Democrats should remain in Texas and debate the issue. If they have a strong rebuttal they may swing some votes in their favor.

* It's alway some Red State attempting to stay in the past. People change their minds all the time Jap. I think the Supreme Court struck down another Red State attempting to gerrymander or redraw political lines. Least you forget- Republicans chose a TV celebrity to be Potus, something almost unheard of. At least Reagan had political experience, just stop trying to remain in power at all costs.
* Remember that Texan who fled the State with his family for Russia to escape " Wokeness" only to be sent to the front line in the Russia/ Ukraine war?

Politics is not meant to be a profession.
Candidates should come from citizens who choose to run for office.
Politics has a pecking order. Start at a lower political office and work up to a higher office if your party members agree to it.
By the way there is a bartender who is now in the House.
