Women 19 hours out to Sea and Some Thoughts: The woman whose ship wreck and i think the ship sank and and she spent 19 hours in the sea holding to a piece of debri ought to get everything she deserves....I respect that woman, if it happened the way i think it happened...This woman ought to be a millionaire...Then it saddens me that a woman wants to swim from California to the Artic or Antartic....If that woman makes it she will make more history than women that cross solo the atlantic on an airplane...But i don't know why they do this dangerous journeys for...And you know something....Not a single woman is campaigning to have birth control pill at a cheap, cheap level all around the world, i am talking to cost 1 dollars like condoms...Condoms cost 1 dollar, i think...And not a single powerful women is overseeing research into some birth control pills causing cancer in woman....This is what pisses me off, powerful woman can reach to new heights, yet they crumble (yes i use that word) when they have kids or they will go into politics, like it didn't exist something else beside politics...They could go into something great to help humanity or women alone, yet they don't do it...I am talking about woman with power....

Why is it that i never see a Powerful Woman Overseeing or Sponsoring some research that will help other women across the world, like some kind of genetic research...Woman are HALF THE WORLD'S POPULATION...And please don't come with that old comment that all women are not the same..

Most of the people in the world who do great things for humanity (inventors, scientists, doctors, teachers, people who raise their children, farmers, etc.) never become famous enough for you to hear of them.

Pumpi, maybe you don't look. There are lots of women changing the world everyday.   As time*treat wrote, we have everyday heros in our world. They just don't get their own parades or a holiday named after them.

The title brought me here. At first thought, I was thinking "dramamine." But yeah, I am with you. I agree about the unsung heroes., but I would like somebody to come up with something that actually helps with menopause and doesn't kill you in the end. I keep asking myself why Hillary isn't rallying for that change. Surely she is in hers or past it. My personal experience so far has been worse than my military basic training camp. What is it with this country and that topic? Doctors, mothers, mothers-in-laws, sisters, aunts all know about it but refuse to talk about it. Even the internet has little useful info other than about taking HRT's . How's a girl to get any help?
