No actually, you can stay on Win10 as long as you want. And if Microsoft says your computer doesn't meet requirements for Win11 there are ways around it. If your machine is running Win10 it will run Win11. You have to have UEFI secure boot at minimum, TPM and processor reqs. can be worked around.
