Thanks CDanaT. 1948 was the year it was put into effect and my understanding is that it was to prevent the US government from using propaganda on its citizens. I've not read the act but that is my understanding. Fact checkers work overtime defending the "Modernization" of that act 2012-2013, and why wouldn't they if what we believe has in fact happened? This seems to be the 1948 act.
