Used to be friendly.
Published:
Used to be, now I don't care tbh.
Friendly hasn't gotten me too much good. Maybe it saved myself at some point, but other than that, nah.
I like people and equally don't like certain behavior.
I often gave people the benefit of the doubt. I wasn't naive, just a bit more open-minded.
At one point, I used to think, "If he/she can do it, so can I!"
Self mastery, staying in my own lane, minding my own business, not hating on anyone.
I'd assume this to be a commonality amongst us as humans on this plane, but it seems not.
For me, this reigns true:
"They hate to see you winning."
Why?
- They're not (oh well, who cares.)
- They feel less superior. Friend wishes you well, but only well enough to not be doing better or being
perceived as doing better. -
scha·den·freu·de - pleasure derived by someone from another person's misfortune./ˈSHädənˌfroidə/ I had no idea this was a thing.
Just venting.
