Jim "Mattress Mack" McIngvale has placed a $2 million bet on the New England Patriots to defeat the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl, according to ESPN. The wager, placed at Caesars, is the largest Super Bowl bet reported so far.

The Patriots will face the Seahawks in Super Bowl LX on  Feb. 8, at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

McIngvale, owner of Houston-based Gallery Furniture, is known for placing multimillion-dollar bets tied to store promotions and has had major wins and losses.

In 2022, he placed $10 million in wagers on the Houston Astros to win the World Series and won $75 million after the Astros defeated the Philadelphia Phillies. One bet included a $3 million Caesars wager that paid out $30 million, the largest payout by a U.S. sportsbook at the time.
