Hey lil'benny. The US doesn't import any oil from Iran, so if they close the strait it doesn't hurt our supply.
Iran has killed thousands of Americans alone since the mullahs took over. Every president since then has talked about getting rid of the terrorist regimes but it never happened. Trump wants to do it. He asked NATO to help. They said, "Not our war", and wouldn't even let us use their airspace or our bases in their countries.
Now Iran has fired on British tankers. Is Britain going to do anything about it? Or will it be up to us to take care of it?  So far it looks like we're on our own. And that pisses Trump off. Europe depends on oil going through the strait. Trump wants Europe to defend the strait for themselves. He's tired of the US paying for most of Europe's defense costs for decades and fighting their battles and wants them to pay their own way. We already pay 60% of all NATO defense costs. That's more than double what they pay combined. That's why he wants out of NATO. Trump wants to keep that money here in the U.S.

Who else does closing the strait hurt? China. They get most of their oil from Iran and Venezuela. We captured Maduro. That takes China out of the picture there. If they want Venezuelan oil they will have to buy it from us. That brings money into the US.

Back to Iran. The terrorist regime and IRGC have been killing people around the world for 47 years. They treat their own people like sh*t. Women have zero rights. They can't drive, work, vote, have jobs, go to schools, get forced into marriage as young as 9 years old, if they get raped and they report it, they can get put to death for having sex outside of marriage, they get whipped or imprisoned for showing their hair in public or not wearing a hijab and more. The IRGC security forces slaughtered over 30,000 of their own citizens in January for protesting and it was all crickets from the media in this country. Imagine if that happened here. But people here lost it over two being shot for attacking ICE.

People in Iran want their freedom back. To do that you have to get rid of the regime. Trump is doing that. When it's over they will have a normal gov't again, like they had before that was like most other countries. Just think how great it would be if there was no more terrorism, no more IRGC, no more Hamas, no more Hezbollah, no more suicide bombers, no more plane hijackings. No more Death to America chants, no more endless wars. And not having to worry about them launching nuclear missiles at the US or Europe. Freedom is not free and sometimes peace has to be fought for.
But the only thing libbies seem to care about is that gas prices went up for a few months. Relax, they will come back down. And the world will be much better and safer place.
