Democrats Unveil Top Redistricting Targets

Essentials were worth the pain.
* The Dems for their part tried but were not successful in changing hearts though.Their plan is the direct opposite of the chaos we are now living through. Let’s see if people are smart enough to make great choices or we back to the same old shxt.
* Doesn’t get clearer than that ( excuse the pun.)
* The Dems, in this case CA did it to match TX shenanigans. When Carolina did it, the courts stepped & stopped it in even though it was put to the voters & on the ballot. TX did nothing of the kind, the R legislature simple went ahead & redrew their map giving the middle finger to the voters.
* Voters in those States are abused & they seem to love it because they keep voting these morons time & time again because they incapable of thinking clearly.
* it’s one reason l don’t visit Red States, their thinking is primitive and their Republican politicians are a bunch of A holes.
You act like this is the first time this has happened. It's not.
Midcycle redistricting efforts like the ones in Texas and California have, up to now, been extremely uncommon. Since 1970, only two states – Texas in 2003 and this year, and Georgia in 2005 – have voluntarily redrawn their congressional maps between censuses for partisan advantage, according to a new Pew Research Center analysis.
A chart showing that when congressional districts change between censuses, usually state or federal courts are involved.
When midcycle redistricting occurs, it’s usually because courts have thrown out the previous maps for violating state or federal law. In fact, 36 of the 40 midcycle redistricting changes since 1970 have either been made in response to a court order (20) or imposed by a court itself (16). In addition to Texas and Georgia, California is also an exception: After the 1982 elections, lawmakers passed a revised version of the congressional map that voters had rejected in a referendum earlier that year.

For a "journalist" you are pretty bad about presenting facts. True journalists are supposed to present both sides of a story. If you present only one side you are NOT a journalist, you are an opinion writer.
Later, I'm gonna watch the game.
* I am TALKING about the Present re districting which Trump forced on the TX legislature. He tried it in another State & was re buffed. You not helping yourself by not answering WHY Texas complied with he’s request to get more Republicans elected. It’s because your party: MAGA looks at Trump as your Messiah. Your leader is afraid of what the outcome will mean for his agenda.
* Why not answer how the TX legislature didn’t go to the voters? California & SC did it, going to the voters. Why are Republicans scared of the voters? They grovel at their feet when they want to be elected, but threw them under the bus when Trump orders them to comply to his will. Trump is your god.
* Go watch the game: These questions will still be here when you return. I am a journalist and you know it. I told you 47 lost in 2020, you still haven’t proven me wrong. See- truth always stands.
* The Journalist. Oh Yeah.
You want me to stay in this era, but you're the one that keeps bring up Nixon. Just saying...
