Missouri lottery: I had time today!

Published:

Last week, I purchased, $5.00 in $1.00 tickets for the 10X scratch off.

First 5 tickets,  3 are losers, 2 are winners.  Total  "$3.00" win, "Petty"!

Purchased at 7-11.  So, I scan the tickets, it says, "See retailer"?

So, I take them to the counter, the clerk scans them, and says, "I can't pay these out, it says, "see retailer".

I say, you are the retailer, so the issue is with you, you probably did not scan the book before you start selling the tickets.  So, he says, well, you have to come back and see the manager.

Really?

So, I come back the next day, I tell the clerk what I think the issue is, and he should pull a ticket off that same roll and scan it and see what it says.  He does it and it says the same thing, "See retailer"!  He says, it's nothing he can do, I have to come back when the manager is there?

So, he says, come back at 11am when the manager is there.

I go back at 11 am another day, and the guy says, he is not the manager, scans the tickets and gives them back after it says, "See retailer", and proceeds to wait on another customer.

I wrote to the lottery, complaining about their establishment.

It might seem petty, but, it's really not, because, I feel like, if you do not want to deal with customers who play lottery, or issues with the tickets you sell, you should remove it from your store.

They will learn to put some respect on our hustle.

So, yesterday, I went back to the same 7-11, the manager or owner was there, I told him what happened.  He just said, O.k. how much?  I said, "$3.00", lmaoooooooooooooooo, He gave me the $3.00.    He was aware of the problem that, the book they sold was not scanned, causing the tickets not to be able to cash out.    I did let him know that I reported his store to the Missouri lottery.  He said, "o.k", lmaoooooooooooooooooo.  He didn't even ask for the tickets, lol, I still had them.  It might have been petty, but, I got the $3.00 back although I spent $5.00.
