Thanks Hearse. That is interesting. We seem to be in a phase of tearing down the old, building new and the unknown factor of new is what many are afraid of.

Yeeeeup......Hes young than me and I am right there with him, including hiding under the desk for drills......The Chicken Little factor is getting old.

Thanks CDanaT. It began for me nuclear threats with Khrushchev pounding his shoe on the podium shouting 'we will bury you' or to that effect. It's so old for me, I'm ready to fry up some Chicken Little for Sunday dinner.

Ah yes, the air raid drills. LOL We didn't hide under our desks. We had to line up in the hallways, then get down on the floor with our heads against the base board, pull our knees up to our chins, put our hands on our heads, and had our butts sticking up in the air, while the teachers walked up and down telling us to pull our knees in closer. Then stay like that till the drill was over. It felt like an eternity. This was supposed to protect us from flying glass and debris while the building fell down on top of us after the Russians dropped atom bombs on our school.

Thanks Sully. Fear is the currency they run on.
