Please refresh me but historically with the exclusion of Pres Trump's major evening addresses .... have networks failed to air other presidential major evening addresses?

Riddle me this, when does the average person need an 'interpreter' to analyze words in a plain speech laying out facts?????

CNN has JOINED ABC, NBC and CBS in REFUSING to air Donald Trump's 9PM White House address — they'll instead stream it elsewhere and "monitor" the speech for "news" in case they need to cut in

In other words so they can delete certain parts of the speech they don't like.
Because as Mika once said "he can actually control exactly what people think and that is our job".

Thanks Grwurston. Can't remember who or how many, but Trump's words have been cut and pasted to other parts of his sentences to change context and intent of those statements. Been wearing grown up pants for awhile so don't need to be spoon-fed.
