Very nice. The story reminds me of my brother and his wife, in their mid seventies, who live on a farm in the Ozarks in Missouri. They have three horses, and the love of their life is a two year old colt named "Springer".

Nice story. I read a story where a home was on fire and the pet cat ran into the bedroom and began licking the faces of her owners furiously until they awoke.
