Is America Ready For A Woman President?

Published:

I would think with all these countries hating the United States and with these countries thinking of women as being weak that if we had a woman president they would view the United States as being weak. I'm a woman and I feel a woman could be just as good as a man but I feel if we had a woman president we would see a lot of attacks on the United States. I hate to feel this way but that's just my opinion.

If you look at history and the women who have ruled the world, this is definitely not the case. As a modern, civilized society, we are a little backward in this respect. When Senator Clinton doesn't show emotion, the press criticizes her. When she does show emotion, they criticize her. When she won the NH primary, they accused her of faking a tear filled response to an answer. Then they found the woman who asked her the question and said she decided to vote for Obama! If she wins this election, it will prove she is stronger than any of the men. They were even ganging up on her during the last debate, which was very upsetting to me. Then when she get's a little dirty, they call her a *B*   So, my answer is a definite "NO"   I'm not telling you to vote for her, but don't like gender influence you. Same with race. People are saying a Black man can't win. Not true. I wish the 2 of them would put their egos aside and run together. A Clinton/Obama ticket would be unstoppable for the Democrats!

We can't have a woman making important decisions in an office as high as this one. What would happen if something really important needs to be done, and it's that time of the month? I wouldn't want WWIII to start because of it....lol

Pac, she's in her 50s. So this proves how much men know about real life.
Speaking of that, we all know if a man had to give birth, the human race would end. As far as "that time of the month" goes, imagine a man in that condition. The ER would be packed with guys yelling "I'm dying, Oh, Lord, I'm dying"

Women can be very vicious at times. Just rile one up.

From what I have seen of Ms Clinton she has not shown her true colors on the viciousness which she can deal out.
I have met and known many women and I can see it in her from my experience on judging character.

Policies trump gender. If we minded our own business, we'd have no one attacking us, no matter who was sitting in the Big Chair.

time*treat - I agree with your first statement 100%. However, if you think we should let genocide continue while we sit and watch TV and go out to dinner, I suggest you visit a Holocaust Museum. They show people what happens when others turn away from horror. Ask the survivors of WWII, Rwanda, Dafar, and so on. Yes, sometimes we definitely should mind our our business, but humanity should always be our business.

Tantip said "attacks on the United States".
Last I checked, we hadn't annexed Rwanda or Darfur. :-)

Scary - I hope so too. What happens if a male president takes a Cialis and has one of those 4 hour erections? Maybe he could accidentally push the wrong button!
