Only soup Restaurants: Lots of $$$ money $$$: You know where you will make money? if you open your little "kioquito" or a restaurant that sells ONLY soup...All day only soup...Do you know the amount of money you will make? I bet you make as much money as subway...And i am talking about all kinds of soup; chicken soup, fish soup, turkey soup, just pure SOUP...Se acaba el mundo abuebao...And i am talking in the U.S and Europe and wherever they got cold climates....But i am talking soup from morning to night...Can you imagine been working in a cold climate and then going and getting yourself some soup....I am talking soup with meat/chicken and without it too...And the price in the U.S? 3 dollars...Do that and you will see...And the more you give in big bowl the more money you will make...I am telling you abuebao...But i am talking healthy soup too...You should cut down on the red meat, perhaps make it a vegetable soup....I don't think anyone has thought of that...

I LOVE soup. I eat it even when it's hot outside. Did you ever see the Seinfeld episode with the Soup Nazi? The Soup Nazi's restaurant served only soup.

The way the U.S. economy is going there will be a great many soup kitchens.
Soup lines a block long waiting to be fed.

Pumpi, a restaurant costs a fortune to open up. I mean, you can't just rent a room and put a sign up. You need to be licensed and inspected, etc. Just to open a small restaurant can cost over $100,000. Restaurants are the #1 business that fail too. Very risky investment.

I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt, but this idea isn't new. As Lilly mentioned, the Soup Nazi was popular years ago and there have been soup restaurants around for years. However, they usually serve salads too along with a choice of other items.   There are restaurants called the Soup House, for example.

JAP - you've got that right! My Mom used to tell me about the bread lines in the 30s but I never thought we'd ever go back to that. I'm not so sure now.

I actually called 411 asking for the address by asking for the soup nazi. Needless to say, there was a silence...lol

I felt so dumb.

I want to start a burger only place called Pac burgers. Only sirloin with much parsley flakes, charbroiled. A deli in Manhattan once sold me one and I was very impressed.

I can make many soups also. I love making a stew with extra than normal veggies. I love making chicken soup.

I could start a soup kitchen, but I'd probably eat a lot of the soup. Charity starts at home you know...

Pac, if you ever sit in front of an audience and tell these bad jokes, you'll only get canned laughter. Oh, I have to tell you something. This is true. I once asked a waitress "what is the soup du jour" and she said "that's the soup of the day, Ma'am."
