  Actual change occurs because of a decision on our part:  the decision to heal, the decision to change.  It doesn't matter so much why you become angry or defensive.

  What matters is that you decide to want to be healed.

Yeah that is why I dropped the coffee last week and started with green tea.

I've made decisions, but then I get stuck waiting, so I know what you mean. Part of this is some decisions in my past turned out to be very bad ones. I used to get on a plane and go to someplace I never heard of without any reservations. (by reservations I mean that both ways..hesitation and a room! lol) Sometimes I'd take a small plane to a remote area and just find a spot to crash. But as we get older I think it's tougher to make major life changes.
