New Technology in Car Radios

Last Edited: January 29, 2008, 5:21 pm

I bought a new Cadillac CTS but returned to the dealer the next day because I couldn't get the radio to work.
The salesman explained that the radio was voice activated.

"Nelson," the salesman said to the radio.

The Radio replied, "Ricky or Willie?"

"Willie!" he continued and "On The Road Again" came from the speakers.

Then he said, "Ray Charles!" and in an instant "Georgia On My Mind" replaced Willie Nelson.

I drove away a happy customer, and for the next few days, every time I'd say, "Beethoven," I'd get beautiful classical music.

If I said, "Beatles," I'd get one of their awesome songs.

Yesterday, a driver ran a red light and nearly creamed my new Cadillac, but I swerved
just in time to avoid him.

I yelled, "A** Hole!" and immediately "Hail-to-the-Chief"  began playing.

I LOVE this car!

When I first began to post this joke, I hesitated. Even though we make a lot of jokes about Bush, he's still our President and, as a proud American, I was raised to respect our leaders. So, as much disdain as I often have for our government, I am proud that I live in a country where we can joke like this. I hope that right is never taken away.

Shame he can't run for a third term.

Jarasan, I think I'd finally pack up and move to Ecuador.
