Death In The Family

Tragically, at app. 2:45 P.M. today, (Friday 02/08/2008), Joy passed away peacefully from incurable lung cancer at the University Medical Center East in Columbus, Ohio. She had been battling this tragic affliction since November, 2007.

She was surrounded by myself and her immediate family through the early morning hours into the afternoon where her courageous battle finally came to a peaceful end.

We ask for your prayers for Joy and the family.

Thank you all so very much for your comforting words at this difficult time in my life. I am so very grateful for all your words of encouragement. May GOD bless each of you, and know that your words of encouragement are deeply appreciated.

My family and I are struggling to understand why such a wonderful and vivacious person must be taken at this time in her life. But, knowing that GOD is the ultimate redeemer, we accept HIS judgement in this matter.

Once again, thank all of you so very much for your comforting display of concern, it is deeply appreciated.

I am so sorry to see your post about Joy. I just saw your post. I had asked on a post a few days ago if anyone had heard from you, because I have been thinking about you and her and hoping all was going well. You are in my prayers and thoughts. My condolences to you.
