Who is Obama?

Who is Obama and what has he done?

Independent columnist, Andy Martin (Out2.com) says he believes Obama is a political fraud who "lied to the American people."

Martin says Obama may be a threat to the Jewish community because he is a closet Muslim.

"I feel sad having to expose Barack Obama," says Martin, "but the man is a complete fraud. The truth is going to surprise, and disappoint, and outrage many people who were drawn to him. He has lied to the American people, and he has sought to misrepresent his own heritage.

"Obama's life story is vastly different from the one he portrays. My point: if he will lie about his mother and father, what else is he lying about? Can we expect 'bimbo eruptions?'

"Fiction: Obama stated in his Convention speech:'My father … grew up herding goats.' The 'goat herder' claim has been repeated endlessly. It is a lie.

"Fact: Obama's grandfather, Hussein Onyango Obama was a prominent and wealthy farmer. His son, Obama's father, was a child of privilege, not privation. He was an outstanding student, not a herdsman.

"Fiction: Obama was given an 'African' name.

"Fact: Obama is a Muslim who has concealed his religion..

"He has treated his Muslim heritage as a dark secret. His grandfather was named 'Hussein.' That is an Arabic-Muslim, not African, name. Hussein was a devout Muslim and named his son, Barack Senior,'Baraka.' Baraka is an Arabic word meaning 'blessed.' Baraka comes out of the Koran and Arabic, not Africa.

"Barack Senior was also a devoted Muslim, and also chose a Muslim name for his son, our own Barack Obama, Junior. Again, his name was an Arabic and Koranic.

"Fiction: Obama Senior was a harmless student 'immigrant' who came to the United States only to study.

"Fact: Obama was part of one of the most corrupt and violent organizations in Africa: the Kenyatta regime. Obama's father ran back to Kenya soon after the British left. It is likely Obama's father had Mau Mau sympathies or connections, or he would not have been welcomed into the murderous inner circle of rapists, murderers, and arsonists. I believe Obama's secret shame at his family history of rape, murder and arson is what actualizes him. Our research is not yet complete. We are seeking to examine British colonial records. Our investigation to date has drawn on information on three continents.

"And what about Obama's beloved Kenyan brothers and sisters? None of his family was invited to Boston to share his prominence. Are his relatives being kept in the closet? Where are they? More secrecy, more prevarication.

"It is time for Barack Obama to stop presenting a fantasy to the American people. We are forgiving and many would still support him. It may well be that his concealment is meant to endanger Israel. His Muslim religion would obviously raise serious questions in many Jewish circles where Obama now enjoys support," Martin said.

Debbie Schlussel, a conservative political commentator, columnist, was more pointedly critical about Obama's Islamic connections, she wrote on her blog, debbieschlussel.com/, "while Obama may not identify as a Muslim, that's not how the Arab and Muslim Streets see it.

"In Arab culture and under Islamic law, if your father is a Muslim, so are you. And once a Muslim, always a Muslim. You cannot go back. In Islamic eyes, Obama is certainly a Muslim. He may think he's a Christian, but they do not."

Is a man Muslims think is a Muslim, Schlussel asked on her blog, " a man we want as President when we are fighting the war of our lives against Islam? Where will his loyalties be?

I don't think most of this is true. I just think he needs more experience and will make a good president in 4 or 8 years. The only thing I question is why people are so excited about a good orator who can talk about "a movement" without demonstrating accomplishments. Both he and Sen Clinton will be on 60 minutes tonight, so let's see how both of them answer the questions. I only hope the press will be fair, since Sen Clinton is often the target of ridicule and verbal abuse. The media is much kinder to Obama. I believe I know why, but the fact that I can't even voice my opinion without being called insulting names proves it.

What experience does Hillary have? I've been waiting months for someone to answer that question. Also, while anyone is at it, please show us where in the mainstream media Hillary is the recepient of ridicule or verbal abuse. How can anybody be excited about someone riding the coat-tails of an ex-president?

Unfortunately I lost power this evening because of wind damage, I didn't get to see 60 minutes.

The president of the United States is not an absolute ruler. If Barack, Hillary, etc. become president and they become megalomaniacal the Congress is there to reel them in, as well as several other checks and balances.

Of the two Dems. running I prefer Barack over Hillary, for two major reasons, the Clintons suque and Hillary's voice for four years would overwhelm the country's mental institutions with new patients.
Barack on the other hand could unite this country, and get us all in the right direction.

I have friends of every persuasion, and the divisiveness that the Clintons carry is not representative of most of the people I know. Barack is a real, and believe it or not, he is real, like GW. The blog entry above is written by people that thrive on hatred and creating mistrust. I don't think it is honest and a misrepresentation of Barack. IMHO.

I posted a similar article to this one in my blog several months ago but after checking on Snopes.com which is a renamed UrbanLegends.com this turns up on a search of Obama.

http://search.atomz.com/search/?sp-q=obama&getit=Go&sp-a=00062d45-sp00000000&sp-advanced=1&sp-p=all&sp-w-control=1&sp-w=alike&sp-date-range=-1&sp-x=any&sp-c=100&sp-m=1&sp-s=0

I agree with Jarasan's post. For me who supported GW for 8 years, I also feel Obama is real and definitely a uniting figure. Apparently many kids who are just reaching voting age do also and I personally have a great deal of faith in their ability to see through smoke and mirrors.

Obama is a pawn on the chess board and the Republican Gods think they are sitting atop of Mount Olympia feasting of ambrosia and nectar while laughing at the stupid mortals. And we are playing right into their hands to fool the ignorant masses again.

Chowchow, I'm not sure what you mean or what you thought I meant. I just didn't want to get into a long debate or name calling. Did you read my first sentence? I can't see anything negative that I wrote. Anyway, I don't need to elaborate. Tenaj said it for me.

Well, I still can't sleep so I wanted to add something: I'm from a Jewish family, and I've never heard once that "he is a threat to the Jewish Community" from anyone. The thought never crossed my mind. My sister in MA voted for Obama. Although Obama is not a Muslim, so what? My friend was married to a Muslim. I worked with a man from Turkey who is Muslim. Who cares what his middle name is? That's just bigotry speaking. When I said I prefer Clinton it certainly has nothing to do with the color of her opponent's skin.

I think it's a load of BS too. Obama is from IL and served in state congress before becoming our US Senator. He is respected on both sides of the aisle and has the reputation of being a diplomat...something sorely needed in our leadership. I don't think he's an undercover Islamo-fascist trying to destroy the country.

That's fear talking...when you start equating all muslims with terrorists, you are crossing the line of rational thinking.

C'mon Tenaj, Republican Gods? That is hilarious, roflmao! If they truly were Gods, McCain wouldn't be leading, and Huckabee wouldn't have won this weekend.

OMG! Barack also won in Maine! Those Gods are powerful. OMG! Hillary fired her campaign manager. OMG! We haven't heard a peep out of Billy Bones mouth since his racist comments.

If the Repubs. wanted to run against anyone, it would be Hillary not Obama. JMO.

Barack on the other hand could unite this country, and get us all in the right direction??? What does that really mean and exactly how would Obama go about it? GW said he was a uniter not divider and look where we are right now.

That's what you think. I gave you too much credit, jarasan. The Republicans will rather run against Obama than Hilliary. OMG you didn't know.

The race card is bigger than anything Hilliary have in her history. And, do you actually believe that all who will vote on election day are voting in the primaries and those who voted for Obama in the primaries will return vote for him on election day.

And remember that the delegates and the super delegates get the last call. Pay attention.

Hey T, you may be too in love with Hillary to see that she is the most polarizing candidate out there. Dems, Repubs, Independents will turn out in droves to vote against her. It kinda sickens me that there are people out there that are so racially pidgeoned holed into the mindset that most of this country is still racist, get over your racial bigotry. People aren't stupid, the racists were exposed for who they are and everybody forgot so quickly on this forum but the voters did not, it is the Clintons and their ilk, why do think Hillary's replacement campaign mgr. is black? The Clintons are all show and no go, I am still waiting for someone to tell me how many people of color were in Bill Clinton's cabinet that are still breathing?

OMG! Obama won in Maine, and Kansas by large margins, gimme a break.

Here is a link: copy/paste

http://factfinder.census.gov/servlet/ACSSAFFFacts?_event=Search&geo_id=04000US23&_geoContext=01000US%7C04000US23&_street=&_county=&_cityTown=&_state=04000US20&_zip=&_lang=en&_sse=on&ActiveGeoDiv=geoSelect&_useEV=&pctxt=fph&pgsl=040&_submenuId=factsheet_1&ds_name=ACS_2006_SAFF&_ci_nbr=null&qr_name=null®=null%3Anull&_keyword=&_industry=

Just fill in the state and voila! you see the break down. Maine is 1% black, Kansas is 5.6% black.

This country is ready for a black president big time, just think about it, the rest of the world (who cares?), will just have to shut up and understand America is the land of opportunity for one and all, and the misconceptions which are propagated by ignorance will be put to rest once and for all if Obama wins.

Yup, I completely agree with you.
Regarding the caucus states, figures show that less than 10% of all registered voters are involved in the caucuses. In Iowa only 6% of the entire state's Democrats voted. I already wrote a long blog on caucuses so I won't reiterate. In states like FL (the one that doesn't count) you have to vote your party and Hillary won by over 60% in many counties, over 50% in the state. Let me ask you something. Just a question to throw out. What is keeping Republicans from voting for Obama now and then voting for McCain in the general election? Over 40% of the votes that Obama got were from Republicans. Now you can say that over 40% changed their party because he's so dynamic or they all think he's better than the other candidates, but maybe there's another reason?

Are you saying you made a bad loan? I guess I'm sub-prime, but please give me another chance. I promise I'll make my payment on time next month, cross my heart and hope to die. I don't want the hand after me, it is very scary.
