FL and MI Dem. Primary Re-vote?
Published:
We should be able to do better in our primary voting procedures in the U.S.

I think a couple of us have said, and may be the thing to do: longer campaign time, get rid of McCain Feingold, primaries all on the same day, get the G*&D(*&^Fn(&g media out of picking the candidates! I am frinking sick of Frank Luntz, Rasmussen, Pugh, and the rest telling us who is ahead in the polls.
The media is running this and they know it, they need to be removed from the process, people need to think for themselves without jerks like O'reilly, Oberman, Matthews etc. swaying opinions.
I can't say for MI, but here in FL we had a very important tax bill on the ballot and there was a record turnout at the polls. I just don't see how over a million people can be ignored. Obama says campaigning would have won him more votes (might be true) but he actually spent more advertising here than Clinton and his ad was all over the TV. I thought that was a violation, but his answer was that it was a national ad and he couldn't make FL an exception. Sure. They are both politicians trying to win and both will do what it takes to get more delegates. I agree with Jarasan. Voting by mail isn't a good idea. Did you see where I posted that just where I live over 3,000 absentee ballots were sent to the wrong people? Can you imagine doing this statewide in Florida, land of the hanging chads.
