patience my friend.a lot of my numbers hit after i kept them from six months sometimes a year but ahh i love those thousands i rack in when they do hit.last time i hit a pick 4 straight i played two dollars for four numbers every day for a good while then last february they hit and i won 2,500 bucks which i used to help me move.i once played a pick 3 number ten bucks daily for about four or five months and when it hit i won 5 grand totally.the trick is a combination of these patience, being thrifty and not going overboard, don't miss one day and finally never give up.i have a binder here i keep with all my winnings.i sort of retired awhile from playing and its a long story but anyway she used to hate me gambling but now she is trying to talk me back into it because i've just been miserable since i stopped and i miss the thrill and excitement of it.i'll be getting ready here real soon to start up again,i can't wait....

I don't know if "don't stop playing them" is the right answer, although I agree that with pick-3 you've got a much better chance of winning than with the jackpot games. It probably won't make you feel any better, but that happened to me once playing a pick-5 game and I "lost" over $50,000. It happens to everyone, but if you get really crazy (like I do) then it's a sign you shouldn't gamble.
