They disbanded,I believe, before this song got so popular. Freddy Curci, the lead singer, had such an awesome voice. He's the one on the right on the cover.

When 911 happened,my sister wrote a tribute song and wanted someone with a great voice to do some background vocals. Freddy Curci came to our minds. But we thought,"No way!" Believe it or not we got in contact with him and he said he'd be glad to do the project. This song took her a year to complete,it took her that long to get in contact with real 911 survivors and ask them to send a recording of them talking about what happened to them that day.About 15 people sent tapes or CD's of their voices, some very emotional. Then she pieced them all together along exactly as they had sent them to her with her music and Freddy in the background. About 3 years ago a photographer contacted my sister and loved the song so much he asked if he could put it together with a slideshow of photos he'd taken during 911. Here it is for those of you who may have missed it when I posted it on LP. "WE ARE ONE"

Not too many people will remember Bread but they were always a good drive and park and make out group to listen to. Youtube them and bring back some good memories.
