Is anyone travelling this year?

Published:

Is anyone going on vacation, and visiting a new place or just travelling somewhere that you have been to already? Myself I want to travel to Ontario or pretty well anywhere decent, that is interesting and enjoyable to go to?

I don't have the money presently, but if I did I'd want to leave as soon as I could.Coffee

leaving for memphis tennessee, in another week as usual, we already figured out it will cost us more but you cannot take the money with you, so we just plan on paying off the gas cost when we get back...

I just returned from Florida this morning. My husband and I drove down from Maryland. We take the trip every year since 1989. The round trip cost us $411.65 in gas, which is not a lot different ffrom the cost of the last trip there. I noticed that the trip didn't have the same crowds at the resort that we have a membership to, but, there were license plates from Ontario, Michigan, Iowa, Texas, the entire East Coast, and many of the States in between.

Suggestion.
Truck Stop, unleaded gas were cheaper.
When we left home, we paid $4.06/gal then $4.01. After that, I encouraged my husband to look for cheaper prices.
He gets frustrated pretty quickly. So, when he is looking for gas, he gets upset if he has to hunt for a cheaper price.
He said once, "look, gas is gas. I'm not going to go all over the place looking for a few pennies off a gallon."
Yet, he kept starting conversations about the current (gas crisis???) and what I thought about it.
Go on, take a trip. But do your homework before going.

Plan on taking my Harley for a trip up to Ontario next month, and spend a week or so just to unwind and enjoy the north country..

Sunoco up the road is still under $4.00 but creeping up slowly. It's $3.97
Hi, Beth. I've traveled a lot in my life, but I've stayed put for a few years. What type of activities do you enjoy? Everyone has a different idea about travel. I used to wait until winter and spend my money skiing, but those days are gone. I haven't seen snow since 1994, except on TV. Where to you live in Canada? Mont Tremblant is a beautiful resort, although I haven't been there in over 20 years. I think they now have film & music festivals in the summer. I'm sure there's a link. BTW, I'm not sure if you are married or single, but if you are alone, you might want to consider a bus tour with a group or a cruise. As I said, so much depends on your budget, the time you have, and the type of stuff you enjoy. Also, it depends on how much notice you need to give at work. I invented last minute travel. LOL   If you need information on FL, I can probably help. It would be way too far for you to drive here, however, especially by yourself. It would actually be cheaper to fly and rent a car.

If anyone has a membership to Costco or BJ's their gas is several cents cheaper than many stations and those stores are normally positioned close to expressways. I paid $3.88.9 for 87 octane, then saw it at a new Racetrac for $3.89.9.

To all traveling, have a safe trip to and from.

I've been on the train traveling thru NC for the last 3 months. I get to ride free anywhere in the US up to 12 times a year and then after that 1/2 price. (Husband retired Southern Railway 38 yrs) Haven't decided where I want to go before the summer is over. It'll probably be Atlantic. It's going to depend where my favorite singers tour.

i've been on the train, pretty scary, they drive too fast.. I think that they will go off track and tip over..Gas trips are pretty expensive , I have thought of taking a bus tour across country into the US mabye? Meeting people would be good since I am single. I live in Nova Scotia, it is pretty boring here, I definitely need to get out of my comfort zone, comfortably if that is possible.

Financially I can't afford to travel just dream of it, but if I could I'd be gone to parts unknown.

The society is facing problems with such laws. This has to go legal
and it’s needed to be sorted at the earlier.
