The Armada is in Place in the Persian Gulf
Published:

Now that we've had enough of the John Edwards Affair, maybe the media can get back to reporting news. If it wasn't for internet news sources we'd have no news at all.
For anyone keeping score on the upcoming Iran confrontation (a.k.a. World War III) all the chess pieces are in place for Phase Two...embargo of Iran. The US and NATO members' war ships that have converged in the Persian Gulf is the largest naval assemblage since the US 2003 invasion of Iraq. The Georgia-Russia scrap was Phase One (under the clever media blanket of the Olympics opening day), a move by the West to cut off the Russia-to-Iran supply route. It failed miserably. Russia has militarily put her foot down. Don't mess with her and her allies. Don't even think of putting missile sites near her borders.
The author of the article below writes for Global Research and several months ago broke the story of a planned August strike against Iran. (Two unknown congressional leaders were made privy to it months ago).
The article is a little lengthy, but the real story is towards the end regarding pre-emptive nuclear strikes that may be used against Iranian targets. These "tactical" nuclear weapons are 6X stronger than Hiroshima but are considered acceptably safe because they explode underground. (Doesn't the resulting mushroom cloud contain radioactive particles to be spread to the four winds?)
The Cold War has just gone hot.

Yup, looks exactly the same. Tried it on 2 browsers.
Thank you, Rick.
Colthmn, yes the article is written by Michel Choussudovsky. Nobody was fooled by Georgia's sudden aggression, least of all the Russians. The US, Israel and Nato were all over there training the Georgian military at the time. Apparently they grossly underestimated Russia's reaction. Some of these foreign "advisers" were captured. I wonder if they'll be interrogated the "American" way.
