On the anniversary of my father's death, I send all of you this prayer for the friends & family you have lost as their souls gather in Heaven.  Shalom.

Thanks Emily. I'm not very religious, but I found this video and I lit a candle. I can't speak a word of Hebrew, so instead I said Psalm 23.   My sister already arranged for a minyan (10 men) at a temple to say Kaddish for my Dad last night. I actually have no idea what Ofra Hazar is singing, but she has a beautiful voice.

I too have lost my parents and not a day goes by that I don't think of them. It's hard to lose the ones that bring us into the world and raise us. May you find joy and peace in pleasant memories of your father.
