I care less about the doubles but I do bet on them once in a while by listing down 0 to 9, double them...then put my best third no to come out in all of them...MOst cases I put the date as my third no:-)   

Example:

       00 3    ( find another 3rd no if you don't like tripples:-))

      110   (date today is 30...I get the 0)  if zero comes out then I certainly would win!
