The following is trend analysis for California Midday.  I do this for different states from time to time and post them, but the following should give an explanation of how I do it and what everything means.

The next number indicates how many digits repeated from the previous draw.

No digit repeat  =  11
One digit repeat =  15
Two digits repeat =  3

Doubles (includes triples, if there are any) =  9
No doubles                                  = 21

The "D" indicates a double and the number in () behind it indicates the number of skips since the last double. 

We notice that playing either "-/-" or "*/-" would be best for California Midday.  I am presently not trying to figure out each state, instead I'm playing "-/-" for all my predictions for Pick 3.

Trying to playing only those numbers with one repeat digit or no repeat digit doesn't seem to work.  You would miss a lot of wins.

Doubles are hitting only 30% of the time.  You could just skip playing doubles or try to predict when they will hit (and maybe miss another win!).

I hope this explains my "Trend Analysis" and my current (it seems to change often!) method. 

The last draw shown here is 977 (O/H), so if you played opposite/opposite, you would play E/L.  Here are the 4 groups:

 No matter what I do, I can't get those bottom numbers to line up where they belong.  The columns with no doubles are the longest, so just move those bottom numbers over a little bit to line up!  Sorry about that, I have tried to edit them 3 times and no luck.
