"ACORN: The Fraud Continues

"This is one of those news stories you can hardly believe. In Lake County, Indiana, ACORN turned in 5,000 new registrations. The authorities there started reviewing them, and quit after they found that the first 2,100 were all fraudulent. The mind boggles: ACORN turns in thousands of new registrations, and not a single one represents a legitimate voter. Here is CNN's report:  "

Lake is probably THE most corrupt county in the state of Indiana. While LosingJeff and I were investigating the Hoosier Lottery, Mayor Pastrick's son was arrested for running a lottery of his own. Pastrick himself was answering charges in the "Sidewalks for Votes" scandal. To my knowledge, neither man served a full day in jail, and the son was allowed to keep ALL of the money he had made from his illegal lottery. East Chicago is in Lake County, and I suppose it's merely a coincidence that most of our casinos are located there. LosingJeff and I established a very well-defined link between Lake and Marion Counties (Indianapolis) and the criminal activity perpetrated by elected officials in both. These two counties "misplace" more money than all remaining Indiana counties combined, but the subsequent investigations are always "inconclusive." No wrongdoing is found, and neither is the money; it simply vanishes into thin air.

I'm glad CNN found the time to report this story, but I doublt that they would have done so if they hadn't been worried about how this voter fraud might affect Obama's campaign.
