Bang Head

How can people be stupid enough to believe this? If Obama is elected and this woman still has to work on buying gas, and work on paying her mortgage, what happens then?

Thud

The liberal elite are to blame for this poor woman's delusions. But I guess they are smarter than the rest of us.

To these Obamamaniacs, they act like they are electing Jesus, who is going to Lay His Hands on all the world's problems. It's some kind of strange hypnosis.

Definitely, she said I won't have to worry about gas and mortgage. Blinded and hustled, a good part of this electorate is easily sold this empty bill of goods.

If you anything about the economy, if Obama wins, the market will drop 1000+ points immediately 11/05/08 Wed. morning. I'll book on that.

Don't anyone of you kid yourself regardless of who gets elected taxes will go up prices on goods will continue to rise the cost of living will rise everything continuously goes up year after year.
The infrastructure is old and crumbling needs major repairs. People who work will always want raises how high can salaries go for workers will we one day see a dishwasher making 10 - 20 dollars an hour a mechanic 200 dollars an hour. It ridiculous the fees and prices for services and store bought goods.

Somebody needs to address this as well as all the other problems we Americans have. Do you honestly think one man can make the difference. We the people need to fix these ever growing problems and stop letting the government rule our very existence.

We started this country because of taxation without representation. Now we have the representation and they are taxing us and charging us exponentially above and beyond the cost of manufacturing goods and services.

four4me, this was a grown woman with a young daughter who said this, not the daughter/child. This has nothing to do with taxes. This woman along with a good number of the electorate think that if elected Obama is going to take care of everything including putting gas in their tanks and paying their mortgages.

You can say that the Obama supporters have been hoodwinked & bamboozled by their candidate.

This election has everything to do with everything whomever gets the job has a full plate of problems to solve apparently people can only see the black and white newspaper print.

People get mighty worked up around election time and think all sorts of things are going to happen as a result of the wrong person being elected. Regardless of who gets elected were stuck with it.

Neither candidate can fix anything if the people don't follow along with the plan and for as many people who do there will always be people trying to side rail any plans that might make things better. The almighty dollar rules this country and the facts are there are more poor people than rich, the rich get richer while the poor stay poor for the most part.

People are trying to dig themselves out of the mess this administration allowed to happen and the people will select the candidate they think will make things better.

The woman exclaimed her feelings after a rousing speech. However she perceived her exclamation is of no value or worth as we all know there is no free ride in this country. Everything costs money and the big money rules.

@four4me: You mean like the Dems have been doing for the past 8 years, like when they blocked legislation that would have avoided the mortgage crisis? It is interesting to note you say there are more poor than rich, that sounds very black and white to me. That is the problem with the past 8 years and emphasis on the last two, if you tell a lie often enough people will start believing it. The very poorest USAmericans in this country are rich compared to say for example Obama's brother in Kenya who lives on $12.00 a year. This class envy warfare stuff is ridiculous.

The govt. feeds off the backs of people, and if Obama is elected, the govt. is going to become obese. What I want to know is what Obama is going to do with all that left over campaign money. Buy Pelosi tuna.

jarasan i didn't point a finger at either party for the mortgage crisis. i blame both parties as well as the banks. When i bought my home back in the early 90's they put me through the ringer the did everything but look up my -ss because i has a 1-1/2 year lapse in work history i had went back to school during that time. However i still filed my taxes everything was in order i almost didn't get the loan.

In the last 10 years banks and lending institutions gave out loans without any background checks or minimal checks. Figuring that since inflation was doing so well that they could recoup any defaulted loans and make a profit at the same time. That backfired real good and they were warned about it regardless of whom signed or didn't sign whatever bills that were supposed to halt it. The banks are at fault and so was congress and the major stock holders they were doing everything they could to get fat.

And they new early on that what happened could have happened did happen and it was to late, now the taxpayers will bail out these giants. Give me a break. The ceo's of these lending institutions should be on trial and stripped of every last cent they have. Made to start over from scratch and see how they like it.
